Vocation is God's particular call to every human being, and is to be
realised in a unique manner by the person concerned, through his or her
own particular mission in life.
The Pastoral Ministry of Vocations is a service of mediation between
the Caller and the one who is called - a service given with love so as
to help every person find meaning in his or her life.
The aim is to help every person to live one's own life as a vocation,
that is to answer God's call as inscribed in one's being and to encourage
and accompany the variety of new ministerial, charismatic or other vocations
which continue to develop in the Church.
The Sisters
- strive to give a personal and community witness of love and the
joy of living
- proclaim Jesus Christ as "Good News" for our world
- intercede in prayer for the searching and questioning of young people
in today's society
- promote religious vocations
Communities of elderly and sick sisters have an important role in this
Ministry. They witness to a long life of service of God and of God's people;
they perpetuate this same service by means of their prayer life and by
offering the limitations of their age and poor health.
