OUTREACH TO OUR THAI SISTERS
Since June 2007, Sr Anastasia has been helping our candidates to religious life in Bangkok to achieve 'mastery of the mystery' of the English language. This is so different from their native Thai! The Sisters in that community and some of the young women who board at the convent have classes in ESL also. The Postulants have English lessons twice daily and they also go out to help in a 'Mercy Centre' where elderly people and needy young children are cared for.
With English becoming a global language, the candidates need it to further their studies of religious life, for computer skills and for tertiary education. They enjoy their lessons and Sr Anastasia finds fulfilment in offering this service to the future members of our Congregation in Thailand. We ask you to support all these ESL students with your prayer.
