General Visitation of Australia

The Australian Province enjoyed a visit recently by Sr Dorothy Vella-Zarb, Superior General, and Sr Angela Basile, General Councillor. During this time, Sr Dorothy was involved in many special and significant events, some of which are depicted below.

The Province gathered in Fremantle for prayer at a special Memorial Garden built to display a Memorial Book with the names of our first pioneer Sisters:

At a special Mass to mark the occasion, Sr Dorothy presented a relic of St Emilie de Vialar to the first parish to be named after our foundress.

Corpus Christi Catholic College named a House Group after St Emilie. Sr Dorothy is seen holding the new banner with Srs Angela and Margaret Anne after the ceremony.

The annual ex-student initiated De Vialar Scholarship was presented at Seton Catholic College by Sr Dorothy at a whole school Assembly.

Srs Dorothy and Angela had a series of meetings with the Australian Provincial Council and the Thai Delegation Council representatives over two days towards the end of their visit.
